Tomato Chutney Kit | South Style Special | Serves 2 to 3

Ingredients

Fresh tomato, Small onion , Garlic, Red chilli, Coriander leaves , Curry leaves, White udacha ulundhu, Mustard

Preparation

  • Saute:  Heat a kadai & add  one t-spoon of oil followed by peeled small onion, chopped tomatoes, coriander, garlic, red chilli & salt as required and saute for 2-3 minutes. Once it’s cooked, let it cool off for 5-10 minutes.
  • Grind: Grind sauteed ingredients for about 2-3 minutes & transfer to chutney bowl.
  • Temper: To a heated fry pan add 1 t-spoon of groundnut oil followed by mustard seeds, ulundhu & curry leaves. Add the temperings into the grinded chutney.

Tips

Store the chutney kit in a refrigerator.
